Scotland-China HPV Vaccination and Cervical Screening Knowledge Exchange

Experts from Scotland and China gathered at the Usher Institute, University of Edinburgh, to exchange knowledge and approaches on HPV vaccination, cervical cancer screening, and treatment.The one-day event, held on 14 October, was co-hosted by Ting Shi, Senior Lecturer at the Usher Institute, and David Morrison, Director of the Scottish Cancer Registry at Public Health Scotland. The discussions focused on the national strategies of both countries for the prevention and management of cervical cancer.

Participants included experts from the University of Edinburgh, Public Health Scotland, the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, as well as from the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China, the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Beijing Center for Disease Prevention and Control, Southern University of Science and Technology, Peking University People's Hospital, and Beijing Tsinghua Changgeng Hospital.
